Probably Jackson Hole and Jenny Lake. Fly fishing on the Green River out of Pinedale was great as well. We lost track of how many we pulled in. An enjoyable ride indeed!
Outstanding observations. I am 67, retired ,but spend way too much time in front of the screen. I realized that I should devote a fair amount of capital to more passive types of investments -to cover expenses. Then, use the rest for trend trading with less risk profile than I ve had. Your insights are thought provoking and very helpful. Thank you
I read/listened all most all your interviews with Micheal Cowen. I really appreciate where you are coming from and going to. It is like your focus on price action and filtering the rest, many of us could model our life based on your wisdom and filter the rest....I plan and will to enjoy the ride...I feel I am getting closer and appreciate the pearls of wisdom.
Thanks for those thoughts ! I trade weekly charts now because I am a full time health care professional who owns his own business. I used to get all caught up in the "big moves" of the day only to find out that its just noise and I was jumping in and out willy nilly...paid a price for this impulsiveness many years ago and don't do it anymore ( expensive lessons are the best/worst lessons lol!)
Thank again for sharing your insights! They are very helpful!
Actually, I found it a blessing early on that I was running a fast paced money management business with 10 people. I was so busy, I didn't have any time to pay attention to what the markets were doing. I created the strategy and it was run each day without exception. When I went into retirement and no longer had the distractions, I had to teach myself to take on other projects and hobbies and sports that would get me away from the screen. With my social media presence these days, that is getting harder to do. Today I'm tied to finalizing graphics for a new book I'm doing that will blow away anything else I've done so far. Two major projects should wrap up in the next three months or so and I'm hoping to get back to golf and other things.

My GF and I just did a tetons trip last summer. Jenny Lake was awesome along with the phelps Lake loop trail. Great views!

As another setuagenarian I would like to add one more important point.
17. Make time for family events and give them the priority they deserve, because at this stage in your life they are very important.
Thank you for sharing this Tom. Hope you enjoy the ride in your 70's even more than you have in the past. You're very kind...
