This one is not on trading, but more on life and people and pets that come into our lives and change us. Our rescue, Banjo, was certainly life changing. He was a 28 pound mix of miniature poodle, miniature schnauzer and terrier. With duel health problems facing him at 12 years old he was getting tired of being a dog. We helped him over the rainbow bridge late Friday night playing his favorite spa music. He was a chill dog for sure. He was the dog version of “Mr. Serenity”.
He loved lying in he study bed to be with me while I banged on my computer keys. We’d turn on the tunes and time just slipped away and he could keep his eyes on me, making sure I was safe. We so miss him.
His dog foster home, where he vacationed while we were traveling and couldn’t take him along, wrote us this message that brought many tears over the weekend just passed:
In this crazy human world, sometimes the creator sends a light to illuminate our divinity. Everyone knows that dog is god spelled backwards. A mirror to remind us of all that we can be, pure simplicity of good.
Banjo aka WBD (World’s Best Dog) was all that. When he visited us it was a flash of goodness exploding into lives. Each time he came he melded into our lives and made life better. He punched way above his size (28lbs), he was a heavyweight in his bigger than life way.
We had a tiny slice of Banjo and can’t imagine the grief you are experiencing. We send our deepest condolences to you for a light named Banjo that has departed but who’s glow remains.

Wherever you are, rest easy my son and enjoy the ride!
My sister just sent this beautiful poem. Thanks Sis!
THE LAST BATTLE (aka If It Should Be) – Author Unknown
If it should be that I grow frail and weak,
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this last battle can’t be won.
You will be sad I understand,
But don’t let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn’t want me to suffer so.
When the time comes,
Please, let me go.
Take me to where my needs they’ll tend,
Only, stay with me until the end.
And hold me firm and speak to me,
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree,
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don’t grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do
We’ve been so close – we two – these years,
Don’t let your heart hold any tears.
Sorry for your loss Tom. It's always hard to let go of our furry family members.
